| Media unveil plans for new web templates for companies that only require an internet presence
Discussions are in place for a new web template system, Live Presence. The new system will be a live self-service web design aimed at SME's who yet to bring their portfolio to the web.
Managing Director Paul Roy sees this as a new technology to hit the internet. "We are aiming this product at companies that are not familiar or convinced by an internet presence. If you look how the yellow pages and other business directories have progressed it is obvious that all companies will follow their lead. I dont think we need something that necessarily creates all singing all dancing sites, but something that will give companies a front page or simply contact details. We want to take the technology element out of it, make it completely easy to use.
We want this product to appeal to builders, plumbers, shops and other sectors that dont have the knowledge or skills to give themselves a web presence.
Live Presence will be marketed as free software with a subscription based system depending on the services the client requires. It will handle hosting, domain name registration and even things down to SMS alerts and handlng feedback forms. LivePresence will also have over 10,000 templates that can be bought outright by the customer. LivePresence is in early production and expected to be launch early in the new year.
